The Balahara (バーラハーラ, bārahāra) is a leviathan introduced in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Physiology and Abilities
These slender leviathans possess a gray and brown hide with large padded shells running along their bodies, their strange triple-jaw mouths are lined with scallop-like eyes and reveal a mysterious and entrancing glow when opened, their bodies are coated in a slick substance, which aids them in burrowing and sand-swimming.
It appears these monsters are inclined to form large swarms, making travel on open sands dangerous, they are seen spitting a strange black glop.
Balahara, like most other sand swimming monsters, can be forced out of the ground with a loud roar or sonic bomb.
