The Binding Frog Chatacabra (チャタカブラ, chatakabura) is an Amphibian introduced in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Physiology and Abilities
Muscular amphibians with a body like a great ape, their bodies are covered in bluish-green scales with black patterns, their stretchy tongue gives me surprising reach, their large chins are lined with dozens of spikes, while their arms are often covered in saliva.
This sticky saliva allows Chatacabra to fix ores and rocks to their arms, increasing their brute strength.
They are seemingly found near bodies of water, such as an oasis.

Notes
- Like with Tetsucabra, its name appears to derive from "Cabura", a rooftop tile designed after Oni.
- It may also be based on the Chupacabra myth found throughout the american continent, this is supported by the fact that the Dalthydon have goat heads and they are plentiful in its habitat, plus its slimy skin is similar to the alien-like artist renditions of the Chupacabra, additionally, the Chupacabra from Hispanic american culture is said to look amphibious and have black spikes across its body, much like the Chatacabra.
