Those wings aren't just for flying, though, and are easily used to stab, rend and blow away its enemies. Occasionally, one can find the scorched shells it has left behind.

Once it sights its prey, it swoops down, trampling them beneath its shifting wingblades. Several have been sighted all over, so be prepared to encounter one at any time.

Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax are elder dragons that have found a way to overcome their affliction. By suppressing the Qurio virus, they have gained great strength and new abilities. Their abundance of dragon energy has granted them greater agility, and even more devastating explosive powers. Very few will be able to withstand their ferocious attacks. When their anger reaches its peak, they'll enter into their Risen state and their body will begin to glow.

Known as the "Ice Dragons that Freeze All" or the "Iceborne Wyvern," few records of Velkhana exist, as such, they remain shrouded in mystery. Their icy breath is so cold that it can form massive spires and walls of ice out of nowhere, and it is even powerful enough to freeze other monsters. Some reports indicate that Velkhana will freeze their rivals in order to establish their domain.

Herbivorous monsters with fluffy tails. Their tails are mostly composed of slate gray hair; some scholars surmise that this trait lets them roll into balls to disguise themselves as rocks. Others believe their tails serve to hide and protect newborn offspring. Gentle by nature, they tend to live in herds. They are easily frightened, and the entire group will flee when attacked.

Female Kestodon will alert the pack of danger, while the males will violently charge would-be threats. Their rushing charges can be blocked, however, leaving them open to attacks.
