- Doshaguma has Turf Wars with Balahara and Lala Barina. Similarily, Tarioth can surround it, and latch onto and bite Doshaguma.
- Doshaguma appears to be partially inspired and named after the Shaguma, a Japanese headgear worn during the Boshin War.
- "Do" may come from "Dog", however, this is unconfirmed.
