- Its head and legs can be broken, and its tail can be severed.
- Deviljho is an Invader, able to roam all locales and environments.
- A common misconception is that it can eat its own tail, which was debunked and exposed as an hoax via emulator editing.
- This was further perpetuated by the official "Monster Hunter - Meet the Deviljho" video, falsely exaggerating that it could eat its own tail.
- Deviljho ranked 40th place in the Top Monster competition during Monster Hunter's 20th Anniversary.
- Interestingly, Savage Deviljho ranked 42nd place very closely.

The Violent Wyvern Deviljho (イビルジョー, ibirujō) is a Brute Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter 3.
Physiology and Abilities
Deviljho is a large bipedal brute wyvern with a body similar to dinosaurs but with its own unique physiology. It has deep green scales, tiny forearms but powerful legs, and an unusually large and meaty tail. Two famous traits are the many fangs that also grow on its face and chin alongside its mouth, and its ravenous metabolism which requires constant sustenance to survive.
When enraged, folds of skin near its back will open, swell up, and glow red with its Dragon energy.
Deviljho’s apex strength ranks it equal to Elder Dragons, able to compete with their environment endangering power.
