The Dog Wyvern Great Jaggi (ドスジャギィ, dosujagyi) is a Bird Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter 3.
Physiology and Abilities
Great Jaggi is characterized by its large frills, which they use to regulate heat, intimidation and attracting females, their bodies are covered in striking lavender scales, with a copper stripe running along their entire body, white fur grows along the spine and blunt spikes grow from its tail and thighs.
This monster leads a pack of Jaggi and Jaggia, it lacks elemental abilities but makes up with its physical attacks, they are cunning social predators, the Great Jaggi can often be seen giving orders to its pack by using different growls and howls.

Jaggi usually leave their pack when they reach a certain age, they grow in size and later return to fight for dominance of the pack.
Its large size is the sign of leadership, and its frills are used for regulating heat, intimidation and courtship, it is said that a Great Jaggi with torn frills loses their dignity.
