The Violent Wyvern Deviljho (イビルジョー, ibirujō) is a Brute Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter 3.

Physiology and Abilities

Deviljho is a large bipedal brute wyvern with a body similar to dinosaurs but with its own unique physiology. It has deep green scales, tiny forearms but powerful legs, and an unusually large and meaty tail. Two famous traits are the many fangs that also grow on its face and chin alongside its mouth, and its ravenous metabolism which requires constant sustenance to survive.

When enraged, folds of skin near its back will open, swell up, and glow red with its Dragon energy.

Deviljho’s apex strength ranks it equal to Elder Dragons, able to compete with their environment endangering power.

Description

Monster Hunter Now
Characteristics: A monster whose rapid metabolism makes it so that it is incessantly scouring for its next meal.
Infamous for its viciousness, it will attempt to sink its teeth into anything that moves.

Useful Information: In order to halt this monster's movements you must keep up the offensive, so weapons which offer continous[sic] damage output are recommended.
When it gets fired up, its skin turns red, and its attack patterns and weaknesses change. In this state, it will exhale breath emissions over wide arcs in front of it and in tandem with its bites.
If you continue to attack it during this riled-up state, you may be able to topple it, causing it to eventually calm down.
The flesh on its head is usually soft, but almost its entire body hardens as it becomes enraged, leaving only its chest vulnerable.

Habitats: Forest, Desert, Swamp
