The Two-Horned Wyvern Diablos (ディアブロス, diaburosu) is a Flying Wyvern introduced in the original Monster Hunter.
Physiology and Abilities
Diablos are large and bulky wyverns characterized by their giant horns, their light brown shells are tempered by the sands of the deserts they inhabit, protecting their rear-end is a bulky tail with spiky protrusions on each side, making for a formidable mallet.
These monsters possess no elemental sacs, but their ear-splitting roars more than make up for it, they can also burrow into the sand and jump out at surprising speeds.
Description
Monster Hunter Now | |
---|---|
Characteristics: A desert-dwelling monster feared for its ferocity. Two distinctive, twisted horns protrude from its skull. Fiercely territorial, it uses its remarkable hearing to sense overhead intruders while burrowed underground, attacking them without discrimination. In spite of this, it is a strict herbivore, primarily feeding on desert cacti. Useful Information: The sheer destructive power of its colossal horns and thrusts from underground should not be taken lightly. Habitats: Desert |
