The Mosswine Hide is a Monster Material introduced in Monster Hunter, acquired from Mosswine.
Description
These soft pink hides are not a popular piece for armor as they can't withstand much damage, but they are favored by mycologists for their special ability to sustain a colony of fungi, all sorts of mushrooms have been seen growing on the backs of Mosswine, these monsters are important in the propagation of fungal species across the world.
Despite their average uselessness for equipment, some have still tried to fashion armor out of these hides.
