The Monster Ecology Encyclopedias (モンスター生態全書) are 15 page long Mooks packaged alongside plastic monster figurines that were published from 2005 to 2013. 18 volumes were ultimately released, with a subset of volumes accompanying each of these main series games. The volumes, in order of release, are as follows:

Each volume featured information on the figurine monster(s) it was packaged with. Volumes also included bonus figurine pieces that could be combined across all of the volumes for a given game to assemble an additional monster. These bonus monster figurines for each of the games, in release order, were:

1. Monoblos
2. Lao-Shan Lung
3. Amatsu
4. Stygian Zinogre

The individual pages for the volumes contain more information on the contents of each, but in general they would describe the ecology and anatomy of the featured monster from the perspective of ongoing, in-universe research expeditions. The first 8 volumes also included more information about the setting, even including world maps, while the final 10 volumes were more exclusively focused on monsters.
