Monster Hunter G is an online hunting action game for the Playstation 2 console which released on January 20th 2005 in Japan, and is an enhanced re-release of Monster Hunter. It was later also released on the Nintendo Wii console on April 23, 2009, with some slight alterations.
It is the first G-Release of the series, a formula most subsequent games would follow.
