Monster Hunter 4 is an online hunting action game for the Nintendo 3DS console which released on September 14th 2013 in Japan, and the fourth mainline game in the Monster Hunter series.
It is the first (and to this day only) mainline Monster Hunter game to be exclusively released on a handheld console.
