Monster Hunter Generations (known as Monster Hunter X in Japan) is an online hunting action game for the Nintendo 3DS console, and the fourth release in the Freedom/Portable subseries of Monster Hunter.
It released on November 28th 2015 in Japan, and received an international release in July 2016.
It was made to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of the Monster Hunter series.
