Evolutionary Tree - Festa '16 Event
The following evolutionary tree diagram was originally published as a wall mural at the Festa '16 live event, which took place at a handful of locations in Japan in 2016. It is an updated version of Evolutionary Tree - Hunter's Encyclopedia 4. See Category:Evolutionary Trees for a list of all published trees.
These diagrams are presented as having been created by the Royal Paleontological Scriveners, within the world of Monster Hunter. As none of those diagrams have ever appeared in officially localized English media, the names of the taxa below have no official English names.
The next updated version of the evolutionary to be released was Evolutionary Tree - Monster Hunter World Iceborne: Official Complete Works.
Notable Changes
- New monsters have been added
- The suborders that would eventually contain Fatalis and Alatreon have been completely omitted from the tree
- The Elder Bug, Shell Bug, Neopteron, Temnoceran, Tailed, and Ten-Legged Orders have all been omitted. This may have been space reasons, as this was released as a wall mural, and they return in the next version of the diagram.
- No color code key was released alongside the diagram
