Monster Hunter 4 is an online hunting action game for the Nintendo 3DS console, and the fourth mainline game in the Monster Hunter series.
It released on September 14th 2013 in Japan, and never received an official release outside of its home country.
It is the first (and to this day only) mainline Monster Hunter game to be exclusively released on a handheld console.
